Projector

Projectors are use to project pictures or movies on projection screen using a lens system.
Video projector usually used for conference room presentations, live events applications, classroom training, and home theater.
The main advantage of projector is it able to project on very big screen, or on a big wall, what make its very easy to setup because of its light weight and size, not like a normal TV or LCD , that very heavy and big.

How does projector works

The main 3 parts of the projector are:
The reflector - is actually the projector lamp that produces the light.
A Fresnel lens - in the middle of the projector is the image that we want to deliver
The projection lens - is the magnify of the picture, the focus, and all the adjustable functions to make the image looks good on your screen
The light travel from the lamp to the Fresnel lens (which include LCD) and deliver the picture to the projection lens - the lens will magnify the image and will be shown on the screen in a distance.

The kind of projectors that available

There are different kinds of projections in the market today, you can have one that reflects a picture on a wall, or you can have one that project a video.

The old one that many know is the one in the old cinemas with the 2 big wheels, today we don't use them as much, because today we have the LCD screen inside the Fresnel lens that can show the whole movie, and the projector only deliver it to the screen with sharpness and focus.

Video projector, known as a Digital Projector, may be built in a back room with a rear-projection screen very popular for home theater applications
